Our Story
The Laughing Flamingo started with a simple frustration: why does a great coffee spot close at 2pm and a great bar open at 5? There had to be a way to serve both halves of the day without sacrificing either.
We opened our doors on Bridge Street in 2019 with that question in mind. Morning regulars get a space that feels like their living room — warm light, good music, a barista who knows their order. By evening, the same room transforms: lower lights, a different playlist, and a cocktail menu that takes as much care as our espresso pulls.
Everything we serve is sourced locally when we can — coffee from nearby roasters, produce from Gulf County farms, spirits from Florida distilleries. The menu changes with the seasons because the beach town changes with the seasons, and we like to keep up.
